Registration Windows/Enrollment Appointments

In our new system, HUB, registration windows will be referred to as “enrollment appointments.”

Registration for classes takes place during specific periods of time. Students are able to begin registering during their designated registration window/enrollment appointment. Beginning March 19, students can learn their window/appointment for the next semester in the HUB Student Center (via MyUB). Students may register continuously from the start of their registration window/enrollment appointment until the end of the drop/add period.

HUB is available daily from 7:00 am - 2:00 am EST.

Please review the following important reminders regarding registration windows/enrollment appointments:

• Check your registration window/enrollment appointment carefully as some windows begin during the week and at different times during the day!
• If HUB indicates that you do not have a registration window/enrollment appointment and it is prior to the open enrollment date (see below), you must be assigned a window/appointment. Contact the Registrar at 716-645-5698 or by email at UBregistrar@buffalo.edu.

Fall 2013 Enrollment Appointments

All students will be assigned an enrollment appointment based on the general appointment structure below.

Beginning March 19, students can view their personal enrollment appointment information in their HUB Student Center (via MyUB).

Appointments are assigned based on student credit hours, with priority given to students with higher credit hours earned prior to the start of the spring 2013 semester.

Appointments for undergraduate, graduate, and PharmD students will begin at 9:00 am on weekdays. Once a student’s appointment time begins, s/he can drop and add courses until the end of the drop/add period for the session.

The new Drop/Add policy will be in effect for fall 2013 registration. Students will have until the end of the 6th day of classes to drop, and the end of the 7th day of classes to add for the regular 15 week and 8 week first sessions. (Sundays and holidays are excluded from calculating these days.) Class dates and drop/add dates are based on the session. Students should view their course schedule in their HUB Student Center for information on drop, add, and resign dates.

After enrollment appointments end, open registration begins. During open registration, all eligible UB students can register without an enrollment appointment.

Undergraduate Non-Degree Seeking (Non-Matriculating) Students	August 1 at 7:00 AM

Open enrollment for fall 2013 begins April 12 at 7:00 AM and continues until the end of the drop/add period for each session.
