Preparing to Register

This section of the website will help you to prepare for course registration. Students may register for courses and make changes to their class schedule at any time between the start of their enrollment appointment through the end of the drop/add period for that session. Courses dropped during the drop/add period will not appear on the students’ transcripts.

During the fall and spring semesters, students can resign from courses from the beginning of the 8th day of classes until the end of the 11th week of classes. Students should consult their summer or winter class schedule in their HUB Student Center for specific summer or winter session resign dates. The result of resigning a course is that a grade of “R” remains on your transcript.

Students should be mindful of registration deadlines to avoid having to pay an administrative registration fee and late payment fee.

Since there are financial liabilities associated with dropping or resigning courses beyond published deadlines, students should become familiar with all financial dates and deadlines.

Enrollment Appointments

Registration for classes takes place during specific periods of time. Students are able to begin registering during their designated enrollment appointment. Beginning in mid-October for spring registration, and late-March for fall registration, students can learn their appointment for the next semester in the HUB Student Center (via MyUB). Students may register continuously from the start of their enrollment appointment until the end of the drop/add period.
