Not Returning to UB
What is a non-returning student?
Non-returning students are currently enrolled students who have decided to discontinue their education at UB and will not be continuing enrollment in the subsequent term. This status may apply to both undergraduate and graduate students.
If you are a non-returning student, you must complete the Not Returning to UB form. The Office of the Registrar will update your record once you complete it. Please refer to the Not Returning to UB Checklist to review the information you’ll need to finalize your departure from UB.

Important SUNY Policy
When a student is registered for courses, the student assumes responsibility for paying all charges associated with those courses. A student must pay even if not one class was attended unless the courses have been dropped or resigned according to the published deadlines, which are found on the student calendars.
It is extremely important to use your HUB Student Center (via MyUB) to drop courses before any financial penalty is assessed. Additionally, it is important that other services you were scheduled to receive are cancelled separately, such as a residence hall room, a meal plan, student medical insurance and financial aid.
